Samsung on Monday introduced its latest Android smartphone, the Galaxy Grand 2, moderately sized device with mid-range specifications. Powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the phone runs Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and features hardware that may be suited for emerging markets.

Details include a 5.25-inch 720p HD display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and 2600mAh battery. Internally, the Galaxy Grand 2 is like most Androids with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, compass, and ambient light sensor. As is the cases with your typical Samsung, the phone offers a number of custom apps and services.

The dual-SIM samsung Galaxy Grand 2 will sold in black, white, and pink versions and will be sold in “selective regions”. Pricing and exactly availability are not yet clear.
