Samsung Gear Glass - Google Glass Competitor?

Apparently, there are rumors starting to come in saying that Samsung has been secretly working on a Google Glass competitor called Gear Glass. 

There's no release date or anything and as we all know Google Glass won't be coming out until 2014, so obviously Samsung will wait for Google to release their product first. Also, there's no official announcements from Samsung yet, so only time will tell if this is really true. 

Knowing Samsung, I can safely assume that they just throw things at the wall to see what sticks and what not. Still, it will be interesting seeing these two big companies compete.
