“In the next few hours, people will start seeing BBM in Google Play, the App Store and in select Samsung App Stores – where it will be free to download.”

BBM was supposed to be released last month but was cancelled after an unofficial BBM version for android was downloaded by users. Blackberry claimed this version of the app had issues and cancelled the proposed plan.

The app will be available in Google Play Store, Apple Apps Store and some Samsung app stores in hours. Of course everybody on both platforms will be able to download the app but not everybody will be able to use the app.


UPDATE 1: BBM for iPhone is now available for download in the App Store. The app weighs in at 30.9MB and requires iOS 6 or later. I've included a couple of screenshots below, and you can download it right here.



UPDATE 2: And now the BBM for Android app has appeared in the Google Play Store. I've got some screenshots of the app below the iPhone app images, and you can download the app for yourself right here. BBM for Android is 13MB in size and requires Android 4.0 or later.



After the suspension of the initial plans to roll out BBM last month, Blackberry implored people to sign up for updates about the app. Only those who signed up will be able to use the app right away.
Anybody not yet on the list will supply his/her email and be placed on a queue. The concerned parties will be notified when they are qualified to use the service. This according to reports was to reduce the load on Blackberry servers.

It was a long wait after the leaked versions got out in the public and I still have a hard time believing Blackberry messed it all up, and blamed it that it crashed the servers. C'mon, that alone sounds like a joke!

Anyway, when you first launch BBM you will be asked to enter your email so they can check whether or not you can start using the app. Like we didn't have to wait long enough... Thankfully, as I had already registered on their site, they actually let me use it! All I had to do was create a new Blackberry ID and that's it, I could finally use the world famous messenger!

Sci-Fighters is a very addicting 2d action game with great visuals and high quality sound effects.

The idea is very simple, 4 characters including you are set in an arena that is haunted by a monster and your task is not to get caught by it and be the last man standing by using 7 different weapons like flash grenades, an ice rifle and even a laser gun.

There's a local 2 player mode, which allows 2 users to play on the same device, which, provided you have a large display, is pretty fun, to be honest.

Sci-Fighters is a great game with bizarre characters and beautiful animations, and I actually did enjoy playing it.

Calculator Plus is pretty much the best calculator on the market right now!

Even USA TODAY named the app among its 25 essential apps, calling it the "handy calculator app that's garnered great user ratings".

The calculator itself is very easy to use and it's beautifully designed for best experience. Also, it remembers everything you type, so you'll never need to type the same calculation twice.

It even has a lot of features that will come handy whenever you need to calculate something quickly!

Overall, this is a great calculator, which I highly recommend to all Android users because, you know, the stock calculator just does not stand a chance against this one!

The Blockheads is a game that's pretty much the same as Minecraft, but in 2 dimensions. 

When you first start the game you get to name your World, and your character is summoned in a huge world with no items or anything. So just like in Minecraft you have to build your own house, tools etc. and combined with that you have to keep your character healthy and not let him/her die. Happy blockheads will be more productive. 

The world that is generated upon starting the game is really huge, the ground is over 500 blocks deep and it takes more than 15000 blocks travelling in one direction before getting all the way around the world. Not only that, but it also has a climate system, seasons and even an equator. 

You explore complex cave systems, survive deserts, mine, craft and build in this detailed sandbox game. 

I highly recommend you give this game a try, especially if you like Minecraft, because this is a high quality game that will not let you down!

Stay Alive! Keep screen awake is an application that will keep your screen on no matter what you do on your device, whether you're watching a movie, using GPS or anything else that required you to have your screen turned on all the time.

You can choose when you want your device to stay alive, for example, only when you have a battery level above a certain percentage or when when an application is running in the foreground. Stay Alive! 

Keep screen awake is a very useful application to have in case you really need your screen turned on all the time.

Lite Battery Statistics is a very simple yet useful application that shows important data about your battery and even CPU frequency states. 

Once you launch the app you will be presented with data such as battery percentage, the temperature of the battery, its current state, technology of the battery and even its voltage. Also, there is a battery chart available for advanced users in case you want to log the way your battery behaves. In addition, there's a toggle that you can activate and it will basically disable your active connections such as wifi when your battery is low. 

Furthermore, you can swipe to the right to show the menu where you can find all the different sections. The CPU statistics section is pretty much the same as CPU Spy and it displays the time the CPU spends in each frequency state. Other than that, the application also has a widget that shows you the battery percentage left and the current temperature of it. 

Lite Battery Statistics is available for free on Google Play store, it requires no suspicious permissions and, best of all, unlike other apps of this kind, there are no advertisements inside the application!

There used to be two Tapatalk versions on Google Play store, however, the old one is no longer available. 

Fortunately, Tapatalk has shared a free version of the old Tapatalk with Froyo style for free on their official support forums. If you prefer the old style of the application this is probably great news for you!
