Last year, PowerA tried to change the game (quite literally) with its MOGA (later changed to MOGA Pocket) and MOGA Pro controllers. While the idea was great and execution was decent, there was still a lot of room for improvement with both. Imagine your perfect full-sized tablet. It's light, thin, has a gorgeous high-resolution display, multiple-day battery life, powerful speakers, and a cutting-edge processor. The Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is all these things and more. From a hardware and engineering standpoint, it is truly a marvel. And, for a certain class of buyer, it may very well be that "perfect" full-sized tablet.

When I reviewed the Fire HD (7") last year, I came to a similar conclusion - I was wowed by the hardware (perhaps excepting the processor, which was a laggardly dual-core TI OMAP), but the software made it difficult to recommend for enthusiasts like you and I.

I'll be honest, I've never really understood the appeal of fishing, and the concept of sitting on a boat for hours hoping to get a bite already strikes me as pretty ridiculous. Thanks to grocery stores, I can think of much easier ways to get fish, and with a memory foam mattress, I can think of even easier ways to relax. But Ridiculous Fishing, which made its Android debut last week as part of the current Humble Mobile Bundle, doesn't earn its name by even remotely simulating the pastime it resembles.

Google is in the habit these days of selling extremely well-priced mobile devices like the new Nexus 5, but the same cannot be said for the accessories. Cases and chargers are all more expensive from the Play Store than the third-party alternatives, but sometimes it's worth the cost. Last year's Nexus wireless charger was one of the few Qi-compatible units out there, but the same cannot be said this year. Google's updated Nexus Wireless Charger comes in a little cheaper than last year's at $50, and it has some cool features.

It was a long wait after the leaked versions got out in the public and I still have a hard time believing Blackberry messed it all up, and blamed it that it crashed the servers. C'mon, that alone sounds like a joke!

Anyway, when you first launch BBM you will be asked to enter your email so they can check whether or not you can start using the app. Like we didn't have to wait long enough... Thankfully, as I had already registered on their site, they actually let me use it! All I had to do was create a new Blackberry ID and that's it, I could finally use the world famous messenger!

Sci-Fighters is a very addicting 2d action game with great visuals and high quality sound effects.

The idea is very simple, 4 characters including you are set in an arena that is haunted by a monster and your task is not to get caught by it and be the last man standing by using 7 different weapons like flash grenades, an ice rifle and even a laser gun.

There's a local 2 player mode, which allows 2 users to play on the same device, which, provided you have a large display, is pretty fun, to be honest.

Sci-Fighters is a great game with bizarre characters and beautiful animations, and I actually did enjoy playing it.

Calculator Plus is pretty much the best calculator on the market right now!

Even USA TODAY named the app among its 25 essential apps, calling it the "handy calculator app that's garnered great user ratings".

The calculator itself is very easy to use and it's beautifully designed for best experience. Also, it remembers everything you type, so you'll never need to type the same calculation twice.

It even has a lot of features that will come handy whenever you need to calculate something quickly!

Overall, this is a great calculator, which I highly recommend to all Android users because, you know, the stock calculator just does not stand a chance against this one!
